now we all know eating out or in can be expensive no matter where you go. but here's a tip that's not too unhealthy for you. Did you know that dollar stores have food? Everything's a dollar in these stores or less. if you find a dollar store near you that has a freezer section they have frozen TV dinners, frozen pizza, frozen vegetables, and even HUGE bags of frozen french fries!

Hello, I thought I would tell you a little about myself. I'm 44 and disabled. I'm on a fixed income and could use some advice on how to handle the increases in food, ect. It seems like everything is going up but my income.

In 2004 I switched out the old fuel oil heater for a Geo Thermal (water to air) heat pump. Everyone told me it would not work because I did not put in a deep well. I live 11 feet above sea level on the North Carolina coast, so my well is only 17 feet deep in the sand. It still works great. Last month my electric bill was less than $70. My home is 700 sqft two bedrooms built in 1961.
