In our area there is a used book/cd/dvd/game store where you can trade those things in for credit or cash. The credit is the better deal. Then you just find something that you really want to read (etc.) and buy it with the credit. We are able to continually "recycle" this way. Many times we were able to purchase something for "free" and it has really reduced the clutter in our house! Excellent suggestion!
