I'm a compulsive reader so book buying is a habit I will never be able to break. However I've found some ways to save. Every three months our local library has a huge sale of used books. Some are donated by patrons and some are old library books. I've picked up paperbacks for as low as 10 cents each. Other good places I've been able to get cheap books are Half Price Books, the Goodwill and of course garage sales.
