When doing bills separate

When doing bills separate them into the beginning of the month bills (1-15) and the end of the month (16-31). Check to see when they are due if you have too much money going out for either the beginning or end call and see if you can have the bill sent another time, so you have a fairly equal amount of money going out.

Food needs to be figured in for both billings cycles.House and car payments add together and divide them for the two different billing cycles.

Check into going on a budget with utility companies, this way you know how much money you need for a month.

Writing helps me

I recently moved out and it was a complete disaster the first couple of months the only thing that helped me was good old fashion paper and pencil write down every bill that u have this also gives u a chance to analyze your bills to see if there's anything u can do without our services u can reduce like less minutes on your cell phone compony our canceling your home phone small things add up then add them up and figure out how much money u need to set aside from each check to cover all of them wants u see everything on paper it can give u a clear idea it worked for me.

Microsoft Word has a good

Microsoft Word has a good budget in it. Go to File then Project Gallery and you'll be able to find it in there. Hope this helps.

Hey

Keeping a budget is matter of a habit. It took me a long time to learn. My biggest challenge was to get rid of bad habits; they are the ones responsible for keeping me off track. Build a comfortable budget which may appeal to your short term goals initially, but then gradually work towards adjusting for long term goals.
I like gadgets so I end up investing in a software, mvelopes.com, to help me stay on track. I find it quiet easy and fun now. PS: i dont have a stake in that company.

Have your tried looking

Have your tried looking printing out your bank statement and giving a good look where your really wasting money, them try to eliminate those bad habits that cost money like a bottle or water a day just buy a Brita filter it will save you money once you start to see what u really need and don't need it'll get easier next step for me is to write everything down your income and your must pay bills them see how much extra saving money you got one thing that has helped me save is create a automatic draft from your checking to your savings account start small let's just say $10 every week and do your best not to ever look at the savings account u don't want to know how much money is in there just save like my mom always said money u can't see u can't miss
