Hi,
For years, I have bought dishes from the flea markets and 2nd hand shops. I love to mix patterns and it sets a beautiful table! If you keep coordinating colors or the same colors in mind when you shop, it's easy to find plates, platters, bowls, etc...that will work together and give you a one of a kind look and it SAVES you $$. I get compliments all the time on how the table will look or comments like "I didn't think of that & it looks good" or "wow, your table settings look great"!! Also, I buy all white linen napkins but the designs/weave could be all diff but they work together.
