Another option that we use a lot is to go to the matinee, which is only $4 per person for any movie shown before 6:00 p.m. After that it is anywhere from $8-12 depending on if it is 3D. Also, see if there is a cinema cafe nearby where you can go to the movies for $1-2 per person. It may be movies about to go to DVD but you will get to see them on the big screen if that is what you like to do. And do not order the food because that is where the theater makes their money.
