Never buy clothes at retail price! If you see a "must have" in the store, note the label and style number, you can often find it cheaper online.

Know your store
Some stores have sales throughout the year. If you have a favorite store, learn the seasons the have sales. Semi-annual, quarterly etc. H&M Express and outlets in general are some of the store I shop and I know they have scheduled sales.
