When considering changing your bank, look up how many ATMs they have near where you live and work. My credit union has an agreement with 7-11 stores, so I can use any 7-11 ATM for free, which is great because there's one across the street from my apartment. My husband has an ATM card from an organization that caters to military families, and he can use any ATM, anywhere in the world, for free.
